So yum the best hot pot in the bay, the food is amazing with friendly service. Will come to visit again!

I've tried many hot pot restaurants and this one has the best and most flavorful soup base! It's really spicy if you ask for the higher level Food(5/5): everything was really good! I enjoyed their egg dumplings, spicy garlic beef, and Chinese yam the most! I've never seen egg dumplings and Chinese yam at other hot pot restaurants so it was nice to get more variety here. The soup base made it really tasty as well. Service(5/5): We were seated relatively fast after arriving and the food was brought to us pretty quick! Ambiance(5/5): this is a really good spot to bring family or a group of friends, the decoration is really unique compared to other hot pot restaurants.

Had an amazing hot pot feast after hiking! The clear oil spicy broth was rich and flavorful--so good we couldn't stop eating! Loved the crunchy goose intestine, fresh tripe, and tender double pepper beef. The self-serve lamb spine was a surprise hit! Great sauce bar, free desserts, and friendly service. Only downside? It's easy to miss from the road, but totally worth finding!

-Ambiance: decor makes you feel nostalgic, Chinese music playing in the background, & clean -Service: accommodating of a stroller/car seat + baby, quick service, & staff check in with you throughout meal -Food: self serve sauce bar is a plus, a lot of variety of food items, & soup bases are tasty

Fantastic experience in the restaurant The meat quality is exceptional Service is great! Me and my friends had a good time

So good, service is quick! The vibes are great, esp if you're into the China old school vibes.

Brooooooo! The Australian wagyu and tender beef were the best meat I've ever had at a hot pot place. Also the beef tallow (butter) mala was ridiculous. We were in an altered state after we left. We spent $100 for 2 people but there was enough food for 3 regular people or 4 smaller appetite peeps lol

My partner and I visited Happiness Hot Pot on a Friday evening. There was a parking lot, but most spaces belonged to residences, so parking can be a challenge (especially since there is an Orange Theory in the same plaza). In terms of wait, it was not bad at all and we got seated right away. The restaurant was not very busy when we visited. We ordered the mild version of the Spicy Beef Tallow soup base along with the non-Spicy Mushroom soup base. I really enjoyed the soup bases and thought that mild was a good level of spiciness (for my Cantonese stomach). The lamb and beef meat quality here was quite high. There was good marbling; and very easy chewing texture. The portions are quite small so you'll likely order more plates of meat than other hotpot restaurants. Sauce bar was pretty decent too and had most staples. I would skip ordering meat balls. We ordered the ball platter, but were quite unsatisfied by the portion size. Not worth the money considering that the balls were likely store bought. I enjoyed the meal, but probably won't come back due to the higher pricing compared to other hotpot places.

We found Happiness to be good but it isn't the best hot pot we have had. Service was just ok. And the ambiance was more self service and not as clean. The tongs were quite dirty. The tables are made with tiles and were a bit sticky as well as the grout areas are hard to keep clean. The restrooms were just ok clean. The bar with sauces was ok but a bit jumbled together in some cases. All together we will stick to better service and quality. I give 4 stars are the service and cleanliness could have been better.
